Hi, I’m Karis a licensed esthetician specializing in Brazilian waxing and sugaring and the owner of Bare Karessence.

Before becoming an esthetician, I was a stay-at-home mom. During that time, I realized how much I genuinely enjoyed waxing and the smooth, confident feeling that came with the results. Eventually I thought, why not turn something I enjoy into something I can do for other women? So I went to esthetics school, and here we are!

Today, as a Waxer and Sugarista, I love helping women feel more comfortable and confident in their skin. For me, it’s about more than just removing hair. I enjoy helping my clients care for their Brazilian area, especially when it comes to concerns like ingrown hairs and hyperpigmentation.

I created Bare Karessence to provide a comfortable, detail focused experience where you can feel taken care of without feeling judged or rushed. Because at the end of the day, we all deserve smooth skin, healthy skin, and a little help making the kitty feel pretty. 🤍
